Hello, Satoshi clubbers! Another AMA took place in Satoshi Club and we would like to introduce to you the AMA session with our friends from DeFly Ball and our guest, @Murray_DFLY. The AMA took place on the 8th of November.

The AMA session was divided into 3 parts with a total crypto reward pool of 500$.

In this AMA Recap, we will try to summarise the most interesting points for you.

Murray: I’m Murray Marderosian — CEO of DeFly Ball. I have been in the blockchain field for more than 5 years and also working as a business analyst in public and permissioned blockchain projects in the crypto industry. Now I’m working on this project to make the dream come true!

Murray: DeFly Ball is the first-ever FlyBall dogs metaverse racing game on BSC! We proudly introduce DeFly Ball, a virtual NFT-based play-to-earn game. It is an amazing, captivating real-world competition transformed into a virtual world where users can own, train, feed, and trade their Super Dogs.

DeFly Ball is a journey of dogs that train to become race-ready athletic. The reason for the name of this play-to-earn platform is DeFly collectibles. Users can collect non-fungible tokens (NFTs) which they can sell, create or rent on DeFly Marketplace. We are sure that your journey as a DeFly user is going to be riveting and rewarding.

Murray: Thanks, right now we are going with the 3D model concept to give the users a more detailed experience of the use of gameplay. We have started working on the initial concept in the middle of quarter 2. Our team is working hard, day and night, to bring the best product to its community.

There are various types/categories of Super Dogs Characters in DeFly Ball. They include: “Elite”, “Legendary”, “Exclusive”, and “Sprinters”.
Can you list some examples of dog characters that are in each of these categories? What are the specific features of each of the categories of Super Dogs Characters in DeFly Ball?

“After they perform heavy training, feed your dogs with nutritious food that will boost their motivation and strength”. Can you explain how users/players can feed their dogs? Are there specific foods for certain purposes or certain categories of Super Dog Characters?

Murray: There is a total of 10 Dog Breeds in the game initially and we will be introducing more interesting characters in the DeFly Ball game.

There are 4 rarity levels of Super Dogs:

Elite: 2
Legendary: 3
Exclusive: 4
Sprinters: 5

The key attributes/features of the Super Dogs Characters are the following:

Training level
Temperament
Intelligence
Stamina
Speed
Agility

There are 4 different training zones and each has a certain level. Completing each training session requires some energy level for the super dogs to upgrade their skills and other features mentioned above. Food kits and other energy booster kits will be available on the marketplace for users to buy with DEFLY tokens.

For the last part of the question, currently, we have 5 food kits available and more will be introduced soon. Food kits will be used for a certain feature of the dog, e.g. Jarvis: to increase stamina.

A specific feature that is implemented by DeFly Ball is the NFT renting system. Please explain how it works and what advantages does it bring to those who would like to benefit from it? Could you also compare the pros and cons between owing and renting NFT on DeFly Ball?

Murray: The concept of renting NFT will be launched by DeFly Ball for the first time. So a short idea about NFT renting is the process of renting an NFT for a specified period. A tenant can rent an NFT by negotiating a suitable amount with the NFT owner and then returning the rented NFT to the owner after a specified time. It is a smart way of taking advantage of the DeFly NFT Marketplace.

The advantage of renting an NFT is that if a user wants to play a game with an elite dog character and can’t afford to buy the character, he can rent it from any other seller from the marketplace for a certain time period and get benefits from well trained and high-level characters.

Using these characters, users can earn rewards and give the rented NFT back to its original user.

A disadvantage is that if you have rented your NFT, you won’t be able to use that for a defined time period. The owner has to provide the authentication credentials to the tenant which risks the credibility of NFT.

DeFly Ball has a total supply of 100,000,000 DEFLY tokens, a considerably high amount. We have seen cases of projects failing because they lack an efficient token buyback or burning system or a poorly proposed inflationary model. In the case of DeFly Ball, what decentralized economic strategies have you created to avoid the depreciation of your token over time? Is your token inflationary or deflationary? Does it have an embedded buyback or burn mechanism? What do you have to comment on this topic?

Murray: Another good question.

Our team is working to create an efficient burning system, as we know that we have a high amount of total supply for the DeFly Ball token. We have allocated some % for burning and buybacks from the total supply. Tokens will also be distributed while playing games in terms of incentives and rewards.

In the first quarter of 2022, DeFly Ball will have its token staking and reward system and plans on collaborating with some gaming firms. So, could you share an advance overview of your token staking and reward system? What will be the highest APY offering of your staking program? Considering that staking is so common, how would staking in DeFly Ball give a better income for stakes? How is your reward system implemented and what will be its mechanism? As you plan to collaborate with some gaming firms, can you tell us a hint on what gaming platforms you plan to partner with and why? Any advantages you see for the chosen gaming platforms you plan to collaborate with?

Murray: Another very good question. As expected, the token staking and reward system will be introduced to the users after TGE. The main concept is to get rewards in terms of gems and points as a passive income. Users will get different rewards stacking DEFLY tokens: Food Kits, Tickets for Tournaments, Gems, Super Dog Characters, and other in-game items. There will be some time frame (lockups) to stake tokens. For more details stay tuned on our announcement channels.

Murray: Yes sure, there are 3 modes of gameplay in our game:

Face-off
Tournament

We will be starting with the Bot and the Face-off mode first and introducing different levels in these 2 modes.

In DeFly Ball, I noticed that three referees are appointed to three different positions, in order to maintain check and balance throughout the game, Sir Hagrid, Sir Mark, and Sir Humphrey. Can you tell us more about their position in the game? What are the other responsibilities of these referees? What qualify these people to become a referee? Who is the highest among the referees or are they in the same team?

Murray: All the referees are on the same level and each has been given the role to evaluate according to the game rules. Sir Hagrid will be on the duty to check if the super dogs’ jumps are fine and up to the standard. Also, Sir Mark will be checking the ball picking from the box. And Sir Humphrey is on the duty to announce the results of the winners of the rounds.

Andrés M. | Satoshi Club: Btw, is there another way to join the project? I mean, do you have any ambassador programs to attract new members?

Murray: If you are talking about the referral system, it’s not active yet.

No, we don’t have an ambassador program right now, but we can do this in the near future.

Something that caught my attention is the Food Pantry of your game. Can you explain to us what is it? What is its role in your game? Will there be any additional fees before entering the Food Pantry? Will the Food Pantry also come under your metaverse application or will there be any separate section in your marketplace to purchase the products? Does each food have a separate potential or function? Since each dog has its own skills, will there be any separate food for each dog to make them more powerful? Or any food is applicable for any dog to heal? Lastly, could you please clarify for us, are there any additional requirements for purchasing the food products in the Food Pantry? Or we can just purchase the food products with your native token?

Murray: Food Pantry is the key part of the DeFly Ball game as it evolves the feeding of dogs. After each training session, dogs need some food intake to maintain their levels. There are different Food Kits for maintaining different food levels.

Yes, Food Pantry will be part of dogsverse and each Food Kit comes with separate skills and powers to increase the levels of Characters.

Initially, users can buy the Food Kits from the marketplace using the native token, DEFLY. We have in our plan to integrate more ways to buy Characters, Food Kits, and other in-game items.

Murray: Dogs need training so they can take part in FlyBall tournaments or different modes of games. To successfully train the dogs, they must enter the DeFly Training Zone. The Training Zone is composed of four different sections:

Take-Off
Hurdles
Box
Holding Ball

Murray: Users can rent their NFTs on the marketplace and get rewards or earn passive income doing so. There is a timeframe (locking) system for the users to rent their NFTs.

Murray: The DEFLY tokens play their role as a utility as well as governance token within the DeFly Ball ecosystem.

It is the backbone of the platform and is a principal means of trade. DEFLY tokens are used for every in-game purchase, ranging from getting your
first Super Dog characters, training, purchasing Food Kits, renting dogs, and any other transaction. The token is used to make purchases within the marketplace to trade for collectibles. It is used as an in-game currency to make purchases of premium items.

DeFly tokens can also be staked for a specific amount of time, making the owner eligible for claiming rewards and weekly draws of the collection of NFT characters.

Dogs Forensics is the place to treat dogs. If a dog gets injured during training, practice, or a race, the player needs to bring them into Dog Forensics. All dogs in the Dog Forensics remain under the observation of Dr. Bum Fuzzle.

Murray: New Super Dog characters will be introduced with time in the marketplace with options to customize and upgrade them. Super Dog characters will be available to trade, buy, rent and sell on the NFT marketplace along with dog accessories, Food Kits, and other items.
